*Once deposit/retainer is paid, your invoice is now a signed contract. INVOICES and CONTRACTS WILL BE USED FOR ANY LEGAL PURPOSES! 

*You get a digital contract at the time of booking appointments. You are more then welcome to sign them before coming into the store. They will only be valid when deposit is paid. The contract is a attachment, at the bottom of invoices. Curbside Cakery does sign the contracts as well. Also, you are more then welcome to have a printed version at your tasting or even mailed to you. 

*NO CAKE WILL BE DELIVERED OR LEAVING THE STUDIO, UNLESS CONTRACTS ARE SIGNED. 

*ALL STANDS must be RETURNED! If not, card on file will be charged $100.00 to replace. $50 extra per stand if not returned. All Stands need to be returned 3 business days after the event. CURBSIDE CAKERY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE STANDS RETURNING TO THE STUDIO AFTER ANY EVENT. RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RETURN OF ALL STANDS. 

*If you do not have a stand rental fee on your invoice for your event, NO stands will be provided the day of. 

Wedding Slots fill up quickly. You have 48 hours TO PAY the deposit. If the deposit is not paid in the 48 hours, your order will be CANCELED. Your date will be then released and a $25 reinstatement fee will be charged to rebook/form/create/send an other invoice. 

Deposit/Retainer:

1.   50% of your total cake balance is due to secure your order and date.   

2.  Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER. 

Final Payment:

50% of your total cake price is due 30 days before your event date.  Please refer to the link CURBSIDE CAKERY has sent you via email to pay your final balance. YOU MAY ALSO PAY IN STORE. (By Appointment ONLY)

Non-Payment & Cancellations: 

1.  Notifications of cancellation must be made 14 days prior to the delivery date.  The deposit/retainer is non-refundable. However, you will have NO MONEY owed to CURBSIDE CAKERY.  

2.  If your balance is not paid 30 days before your event date, your order will be cancelled.  Please note, the deposit/retainer is non-refundable.  

3. If your balance is paid in FULL OR HALF NO MONEY is refundable if wedding or event is cancelled. 

Cake Order/Design Changes:

1.  The date of your final balance is the final date for any changes of size, style, or flavors of the cake.  Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.  

Delivery & Set-up: 

1.  Delivery and set up charges are NOT included in the total price of the cake.  

2.  CURBSIDE CAKERY is not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete.  You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s).  Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.   Please note that direct sunlight and temperatures of 75 degrees and higher may have drastic and adverse affects on any cake.

3.  A photo will be taken of your order once the setup is complete.  

4. Please check with your catering team on their cake cutting skills. If they can not properly cut cake slices, your guest then will receive slices that are falling apart. You should not have triangle/party slices for weddings. CURBSIDE CAKERY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HOW THE CAKE IS CUT OR HOW YOUR GUEST RECEIVES THEIR PLATES/CAKE SLICES AFTER DELIVERY AND SET UP. 

5. Delivery is 2 hours before the event starts, unless stated otherwise on your invoice and contract. 

GUARANTEE:

1.  CURBSIDE CAKERY promises you the best product and service we can provide. However, CURBSIDE CAKERY cannot be held responsible for anything that should happen to the cake once delivery is complete. 

2.  If an accident occurs during the transportation of your cake and the cake is ruined, a stock cake will be provided for photos and cake will be available for your guests to eat. 

PHOTO RIGHTS:

CURBSIDE CAKERY may photograph your cake or may order copies of pictures from your photographer. We reserve the right to use any photographs for our own reference or for display and/or promotion without compensation to you.

ALLERGIES:

CURBSIDE CAKERY IS NOT A NUT/PEANUT FREE, DAIRY FREE, GLUTEN FREE BAKERY! 

1.  CURBSIDE CAKERY products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens.  You agree to notify your guests of this risk for any allergic reactions.

2.  CURBSIDE CAKERY is not responsible for any allergic reactions to guests consuming the product.  

PICKUP WAVER:

If you have chosen to have your cake picked up, we cannot be responsible for damage to any cake once it has left CURBSIDE CAKERY. Any repairs or additional cakes will be subject to additional fees. Please refer to the pickup waiver attached to the Terms & Conditions.

It’s very important to take special care with your cake during transportation. CURBSIDE CAKERY will ensure your cake is ready for transportation before you pick-up the cake. 

When collecting your cake, please ensure that you transport the cake in a vehicle, on a flat surface, to prevent sliding. Please be aware that placing a cake on the seat of your vehicle, lap, or uneven surface may greatly affect the stability and internal structure of the cake, which could result in irreparable damage. 

On hot days, it is recommended to travel with the air conditioning on to keep the cake and environment cool so the cake does not get too warm. 

Upon delivery, it is recommended that the cake be taken directly to the venue and stored in a cool location before serving. If the cake is taken home before delivering to the venue, please ensure the cake is stored in a dark, cool place, away from any direct sunlight or heat. Please use the recommendation above to transport the cake from your home to the venue. 

When setting up your cake at the venue, please make sure it is not placed in direct sunlight.  

Once the cake has left the premise of CURBSIDE CAKERY, we are no longer liable for any damage that has incurred. If any repairs or adjustments have been made to the cake after leaving CURBSIDE CAKERY, CURBSIDE CAKERY is not responsible for the structure or design of the cake after the fact. If the guidelines above are followed, you should have no problems transporting and delivering your cake in perfect condition to your venue.
